HaD a perFormance yest at ACJC...was really fun and i really enjoyed myself. Sth diff for once,performing at another JC. Compared to the recital we had in TPJC, it was a drastic diff. Ours was so....dead wif a handful of audience =X. cant get frens to come wtch. HOw many parents of ours would actually hv e time to come down on a wed nite at 7.30 to wtch a guitar performance?
Aft e peformance yest, i realised i've fallen in love wif sth, a violin. I love e tone it produces, n esp when its played by someone filled wif emotions. Hmm...had a few lessons b4 in pri sch..only piece i can play is twinkle twinkle little star. Am i too old to take up lessons?
E upcoming wk...my top priority: Guitar. Nths gonna stand in e way of guitar....
I hope i wont get stagefright. Been trying hard to overcome it. b4 performances, i'll get so nervous i feel its winter time n den i'll start shivering. Sweaty palms too, till i fear my fingers slide off e string. I wont dare to play loud cos i fear of making mistakes n thus affecting e overall performance of e ensemble. I better do sth, seriously!
I love playing music, and I hope i'll be able to play em till i'm old. I prefer to play as a grp though compared to playing individually..
Next ting, i muz learn to spend more time wif GP and chinese...learn to focus during these lessons n nt let my attention drift off....
I find guys who can play instruments charming.
